Absolutely incredible massager. I've had a terrible back for my entire life & have struggled to find relief between chiropractor visits & pain injections. This massager right out of the box greatly helped with lessening the pain. It fits very well to massage your neck & upper shoulders, but can easily shift down to get into lower areas. It isn't very loud so it's very easy to use while working.

My husband loves his new neck massager and the heating part is a definite plus!

But it! This massager is great. I carry tension on my neck and shoulders that gets so bad it radiates to my jaw! 15 min. I've only been doing 15 min a day and the pain is gone. It is recommended to do it twice a day. I have only been doing it once so far and the pain is gone.

While others have talked about putting this on different parts of your body, its pretty obvious that its really just designed to squeeze/pinch your shoulders up near your neck...and to be honest: it does that better than any other tool we have ever found. It literally does feel like human fingers kneading that flesh just about perfect. You can speed up the kneading or even give it a stutter-stop between motions (which is just annoying) but besides the heat function (which actually works quite well to keep your muscles loose) - this device really doesn't do anything else.
I have tried my scalp, my shoulder, my calves and just by nature of two parts moving against each other, this has 'some' massage capability for those areas, but its pretty obvious that its really just designed for your upper shoulders.

Don't get me wrong: it does that amazingly well...just about as good as another person squeezing your shoulders does...and this thing wont get tired!
We haven't had the battery run dead yet, and we have used this quite a bit (doesn't have to be plugged in to use), and I think that it could even be taken on trips with you and the passenger could use it while traveling in a car quite easily.

I think it absolutely gets 5 stars for its quality of massage (its almost too much pressure, and I do wish it had a way to back the pressure off, though someone else might love it when it squeezes that hard).
I am taking a single star off simply because of its lack of versatility...you really cant get it to adequately massage any other parts of your body, so for $55...its a fairly expensive neck squeezer.

-If you have sore shoulders at the end of the day, and your partner cant/wont constantly knead at your muscles for an hour at a time...this is probably the perfect tool for you!

Apart from performance the appearance of a product also matters. I have ordered for black colour but received white. Seller should confined to the exact item as shown in ad. This is disappointing.

This is actually like a finger/hand massage, not a tens unit. There are two intensity levels and two different massage modes. The exterior is easy to clean vinyl and the cover over the massage nodes is removable and washable. It's cordless and uses a standard USB/USB-c cable for charging. I can "walk it down" my back to have it not only massage my neck and shoulder area but also the thoracic and lumbar regions.

Dislikes:
It's much heavier than a similar one I have. One of the zippers is broken. I don't care for the charging port sticking out like it does, I wish it was more integrated into the side. The price is higher than similar products (currently $54.99 at time of review).

Overall, 3.5 stars.

The neck massager works well providing a squeezing type effect with the top neck area massagers and a pinching kneading type effect with the lower area massagers. It kinda feels like hands rubbing my neck and thumbs pushing in below my shoulders. The bottom pinching kneading ones hit just the right spot for taking out muscle knots. The heat function doesn't seem to get hot at all but more of a subtle warmth feeling. On the highest heat setting at the end of the massage session, I was getting a temperature reading of about 89 degrees Fahrenheit. There are two speed settings and I found the first slower speed to be more relaxing. The back strap works well keeping the cordless neck massager in place while moving around but I found sitting down to relax worked out best to absorb the sensations to the fullest. The device charges with an included USB-C charging cable but no AC adapter is included. The massager feels somewhat heavy when moving around the house and weighs about 1189.3 grams but feels fine while wearing. The weight seems to help the massagers dig in a little better. Overall, the neck massager works well imitating hands rubbing on the neck and lower shoulder area which feels relaxing and pleasant.

This neck massager is very relaxing. Upon powering it on, let's talk about the other buttons...from bottom up, the first button is low or high intensity. High is faster. I prefer low intensity. Above that button is heat, when on the light goes red when off it is green. Good association of color with heat mode. Next up it the button under power, it offers 2 modes. I prefer mode one which is more consitent n constant like a circular motion. Then there is mode 2 which I ocasionally use. This mode offers some intermittent movement then continues to do circular movements and alternates back. Thats really cool, it does like this kneading affect. You can have combinations like heat. Mode 1, intensity 2. Or change it to no heat, mode 2 low intensity. It also has an auto shut off after a period of time.
It works well on my lower sides of my neck, shoulders , and upper back. When you can't massage your own neck n shoulders or upper back, this device offers that spare set of hands while you relax. The strap is adjustable the the clasp is excellent. Easy to pinch to release and snap together to hold it around your back. It has 2 straps with handles and when I pull it , it gives me an even deeper massage. The device comes with a manual or pamphlet for you to read. But it is so easy to operate. This is a wonderful addition to my self care. It is very portable, I can take it to any room, on trips, it was affordable and has strong pressure. I am very pleased with this find. It really didn't take that long to fully charge and I much prefer it be portable where i can not be restricted to a power cord and have to be near an outlet.

This Masgre K8 massager is described as a "massage shawl" which is a good indicator of its primary intended use. The device is placed on the back of the neck with the side arms hanging down in the front on both sides. There is no marking on the device to indicate which side faces up, so I'll post a photo of how it looks from behind; when positioned as shown on the box.

As stated on the product page, this is NOT rechargeable/wireless. Both AC and DC (vehicle) adapters are included, plus a manual. The instructions specify that the device should always be unplugged when not being used.

There are buttons for power on/off, direction, heat and speed. The default speed is medium. The device shuts off automatically in 15 minutes.

The device is primarily sold for neck and shoulder massage, but the manual also describes positioning for other areas.

I think the function is average for this type of item compared with others I have tried.

At first I disliked this massager but after getting used to it, I like it. This comes with instructions and a USB cable. There is no A/C adapter included. I charged this in my laptop. After three hours of charging, I left it overnight to charge because it still wasn't fully charged.

This is simple to operate but takes a little getting used to. There are straps on either side of the neck to hold the unit in place or rest one's arms during use. There is also a strap that goes around the body and no instructions are provided as to its use. Finally, I figured out how to use it. I just put it over my shoulders/neck with the controls to the left and then when the unit was level with my chest, I flipped it over my head. This enables this to be worn like a backpack as this results in the strap coming under my armpits. I then turned it on by "press holding" the ON/OFF button and adjusted the levels to my liking. I then inserted my hands into the straps on either side to hold it against my body or shift it to the correct spots. Note that it is easier to set the controls before use because it is a bit awkward to crane my neck to the left to see them. It does a good job of massaging my neck area. The heat, on the highest level, is only barely noticeable.

There are four controls and they are the power button, mode (continuous or start/stop), heat (on--shown in red by default or off--shown in green), and intensity/speed (slow or fast). The heat is either on or off; there are no heat levels. The heat feature is a nice touch but it is barely noticeable.

In summary, this may be heavy and bulky but it does a good job and has the added benefit of heat if one can feel it. The massager does not fit between my neck as I expected, but the probes only touch the surface of my neck on the side and just below the base of my neck in the back. The continuous intensity is my favorite mode. I also like that I am not tethered to a power outlet.

The current price of $48.99 is on the high side of competitively priced for this unit.

I have been looking for a mechanical massager for my neck and shoulders and lower back for awhile now and finally decided to give the MASGRE Electric Shiatsu Neck Massager for Neck and Back Muscle Pain Relief with Heat a try. This massager comes with a plug in massager and and a 12v cord for use in the car. It also has three speeds and a heat option. An elastic strap on the back of the unit allows you to keep it in position when using it in the car or in a smaller chair.

The controls are on the front top corners and include power, direction, heat and speed. It is a smaller unit which allows you to easily position it on your neck, back, legs or feet, and it is not very heavy so taking it with you in the car or on trips is easy.

So far it works pretty well. The mesh fabric covering the rollers is comfortable against the skin. It fits comfortably in my lower back and its 4 massage rollers (nodes) line up with the muscles there pretty well, and the same goes for the neck. As for the upper back, I really have to position it exactly right to avoid having some of the rollers hit the bones, but it is possible. Of course positioning will vary from person to person based on their size (I am 5' 3"). It also feels great on the legs, but as for the feet, I am not too impressed as I have to make an effort to keep my foot in place on the rollers vs relaxing and enjoying the massage.

As mentioned, it does offer 3 speeds, although I do not notice much of a difference between slow and medium. I really like how it reverses direction. I also like having the option to use it with or without heat, although when the heat is on, it is not as noticeable as I was hoping it would be. It is not overly loud either allowing me to full relax and enjoy the massage.

Overall I am happy with it. Of course, nothing beats a professional massage but this is much more affordable and a decent alternative.
